Challenges in JEE
With the backdrop that students and the entire academic world has been struggling to handle the aftermath of confusion created by the changes over last few years, the only change that is not likely to be found in JEE 2015 is "the element of change" in the question paper and its marking scheme.
However the prominent ones that can have a maximum impact are:
A. Varied Paper Pattern (undisclosed)
It has been observed over last few years that JEE has become a test for one's examination temperament, besides subject knowledge and practice. This necessitates any aspirant taking JEE to have experienced stimulating papers many times before the actual exam.
B. Inclusion of School Board Marks
Inclusion of School Board Marks at different levels and with different rule. The formula for normalisation of marks of JEE Mains across all boards is like the toughest puzzle in the history of JEE. The JEE Board themselves are trying to figure out which chunk of students loses in what aspect and then they suggest a new tweaked formula.
C. Errors in Question Paper & Bonus Marking
Any error identified after the paper is over, invariably affects either one of the student groups - those who marked right or those who marked wrong answers. In all scenarios, even after taking any remedial measures- there is no consideration for the time invested or not, by the student in solving the question.
